Suh, dudes? I'm Z.D.Prince, call me ZD. Solo indie dev with a talent for getting wrapped up in more projects than I know what to do with. Currently fighting for the time to work on my own, from a turn based RPG to a modern fantasy VN based around the concept of "Independence is Imperfect, it takes two to become a better person". Keep an eye out for those.
My specialty lies in narrative design, across all its broad strokes. Character dialogue, cutscene scriptwriting, technical writing, prose, I enjoy all of it. I do best with introspective, character driven works, whether they're mundane or end with killing some deity acting as a metaphor. Blame the influences of growing up somewhere cold and snowy.
I'm improving my other skills as well. I have a touch of experience with a few coding languages (C#, C++, Python) and plenty with a few game engines (Unity, Unreal 5, Ren'Py...RPGMaker). I dabble all around, really, from sound design to anything that isn't art. I may have an aesthetic sense, but I don't have the hands to match it.
I'm always looking to talk games, development, potential projects, you name it. I'm down for just extending branches to meet new people, or anyone who actually wants a writer to help out (or fellow writers looking for friends and feedback, I know how it goes). It's hard to weasel your way into a team as a writer (plenty of indie teams just write their own stuff, and I adore the creative freedom of indie compared to AAA), so I like keeping my door open as best I can.
Oh yeah, the important part. I'm a big fan of Visual Novels, JRPGs, and Interactive Fiction more than anything bar my secret love of farming sims. Fantasy (plain or Modern Fantasy), Psychological Horror, and PURE LOVE STORIES are my usual hunting grounds, but I love things with nuance and complexity. I'm rather long-winded, but I really appreciate more simplistic and cozy stuff as well. That goes for both playing and writing.
Best way to reach me is on discord at Z.D.Prince#6445, since I'm not enough of a narcissist to make a server just for my unreleased projects. Though I do have a portfolio, if you're interested. It contains a few short stories as well as some games not hosted on Itch.

Have a good one, it's on me. Just remember that games are an art form no less than any other.
