Zenith Rising 

is a turn-based teambuilder RPG with Roguelike functionality, heavily inspired by DS era RPGs. Advance into a dungeon with fantastical biomes known as Tiers, beat down enemies piece by piece with the unique Breaker system, learn more about the companions at your side, and uncover the origins of the Monolith. Though the journey is grueling and sure to end in death, the things you learn and the fire in your heart will push you just a little further every time. *

*This is an alpha demo of the game made in 16 weeks. As such, not all mechanics are included and not all assets have been finalized. The demo covers the first 3 floors through the end of the first Tier.

Story;

In an unknown land across the sea, a grand [Monolith] looms far above the horizon. Impenetrable from the outside, rumors of the great riches it must hide spread across the globe.

This tower's front door has opened, revealing impossible landscapes and treasures beyond imagining known as Relics. Great expeditions began to explore this enigmatic tower, hoping to claim the world-shaking powers of its Relics for themselves…and discover what may lie at the top.

But the tower has rules. A person is only allowed to enter once in their lifetime, and only weapons found within its walls can harm the beasts inside. While greater riches and breathtaking sights await the higher you climb, so do greater dangers. Few brave the journey, and fewer still brave it alone. Those who take the climb are known as [Risers], chasing the stars that brush the topmost floor.

You are one such Riser, fresh off the boat from distant lands and with aspirations of victory in your heart. No one has ever reached the top, but none of them were you.
